Pusat Informasi dan Koordinasi Data Gempa Cianjur (PISO DAPUR) was a map-based web platform launched in November 2022 to coordinate the response to the Cianjur earthquake. Reports, photos, and logistics needs were shown on a digital map with color-coded status (reported, in process, completed), so local authorities, national agencies, volunteers, and philanthropic organizations could coordinate aid distribution in one place.

Achievement:

  • Responded to all 142 community complaints received (100% response rate).
  • Helped 33,159 affected residents check the status of their house rehabilitation assistance.
  • Recognized by the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN) as a West Java innovation in using geographical names for earthquake mitigation, presented at its session in New York in May 2023.
